Walhalla Train Station
Walhalla : : Victoria, Australia
Walhalla is an interesting place to visit – one that I would easily suggest to anyone traveling around Victoria.
Named for the Valhalla of Norse legend, this is your classic gold rush town. When gold was found in 1863 and the population swelled to 2500 residents during its 40 year heyday. Currently the population has shrank to around 20 people who are passionate about restoring and sharing the relics and buildings around town.
Very interesting place to visit!
