Dove Lake Boulder
Cradle Mountain National Park : : Tasmania Australia

This is part of a two week focus on BRAND NEW photographs that are being released of Cradle Mountain National Park taken during my trip in Tasmania, Australia. Also, don’t forget about the Korinek Photography Facebook Contest!

Of course Cradle Mountain is a beautiful pair of peaks. However if it sat alone, it wouldn’t be as awe inspiring. Its partner in crime is Dove Lake, a glacial body of water that sits at its base.

Luckily for photographers, there’s some sweet foreground boulders (you might have already seen them in this post) to use in the composition. This time I decided to get up close and personal with the largest boulder to see what I could come up with.

What do you think?

I like it! It really shows how everything is relative. And I do like the B/W treatment in the last two posts.
