Russel Falls [Black & White]
Mt Field National Park : : Tasmania, Australia

The most popular and visited falls in Mt Field National Park is Russel Falls. You can see why, as it is a aesthetically beautiful waterfall.

One of the amazing things about it is the upper cascades behind and above the main one. You can partially see them in the photo above. This is actually the only shot of these falls that worked out and I was happy with. Ideally, I would have like to have been on a raised platform to increase the size of the pool and be able to capture a bit more of the cascades in the background.

For the rest of this week, I will be sharing photo from Horseshoe Falls in the same National Park. It isn’t as famous, but I would say it is much, much more beautiful.

Wow Matt, this is stunning. It looks so magical in black and white – I prefer it. It makes me want to climb up to the upper falls to see the view!
