Early Bruny Beach Sunset [Vertical]
Bruny Island : : Tasmania, Australia
Like I said in yesterday’s post, the sunset that we experienced on Bruny Island is probably the most spectacular I’ve ever experienced in my life. In fact I was so overwhelmed with trying to take photos that I probably rushed a few too many and didn’t ever end up with any photos that took in the entire sky for people to see.
This was the earliest photo of the sunset. At this point, the sun was low enough in the sky that it was lighting the clouds from underneath, but too early to get into the spectacular colours we saw later. You can see the interesting cloud formations in the lower right part of the sky in this frame.
I love wide angle shots because they allow me to include an interesting foreground. What they also do, is make the things in the distance seem ever smaller, so those cool clouds lose some of their effect.
