Tainted Sand
Wineglass Bay : : Freycinet National Park : : Tasmania, Australia

Wineglass Bay is arguably the most famous place in Tassie (Cradle Mountain is also a contender) . Thing is, sometime weather and lighting aren’t ideal to capture things the way you want. So what do you do?

Point the camera elsewhere and see what you can come up with. Here while exploring the beach near the overnight camping area where we hiked to and stayed at, I was able to find this image. The tannins from the decaying plant matter had stained the water which in turn had stained the sand.
