Remarkable is an Apt Title

I generally find it difficult to name my photos; something I always struggle with.

This image is an exception. I had help from the name of the rock formations, named Remarkable Rocks on Cape de Couedic in Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island. When looking at this image, and thinking of the formations only one word came to mind: remarkable. This image is best viewed large.

  1. My instantaneous thought when I saw this was ‘Dinosaur’ .
I think your long exposure treatment gives just the right feel to the clouds.

Thanks Stephen. It’s interesting how words come up for people right when they see something. Do you feel confident naming your photos?

      • I’m not sure confident is the word I’d use. Some pictures are a real problem, in which case I’ll park them and go onto something else until an idea comes to me. And I don’t have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times of given a picture a title only after the event to realise that it’s a crap title or another comes to mind. I do try to keep title as simple as possible.

Yeah, I totally get that. Hopefully I get better at it with time!
