Bread Baking Photographer

Jim Lahey No-Knead Bread | Korinek PhotographyFor those people who wonder if all I do is take photos and blog – that certainly isn’t the case.

Take Wednesday for example. I took advantage of the fact that I have some extra time on my hands to bake some bread. The process actually started the day before, as I mixed together the ingredients and waited for it to rise. If you’ve baked bread before yourself, you’re probably wondering why I mixed the dough the day before.

Well it is actually part of the No-Knead process made famous by Jim Lahey in his book My Bread: The Revolutionary No- Work, No-Knead Method (I’ve copied a link to the Book Depository, but I’m sure it’s available from your favourite book retailer).

Clearly I’m no food photographer like Rachel Jane, but I’ll give it a good ole college try!

Seriously, it makes great tasting (and looking) bread!

There is nothing better than fresh home cooked bread. Of course a great photo opportunity as well.
